Happy Holidays everyone! We've been able to enjoy our last few days up in Iowa and its' been such a blast being with family! We arrived early morning on Friday after driving 12+ hours from Atlanta ( more on that crazy car trip later ha ). We got an early start but also got in around 5am so it was a pretty long day for a few of us.
As soon as we got in, Zach took a nap, we rounded up a babysitter to watch the kids and I ran out with my sister-in-laws + friends for a girls day! SO NEEDED! I loved the quality time with my sisters as we went out to lunch, had a spa day and just chatted away together! We rarely get time just the three of us so it was such a special treat to have! We saw the movie The Greatest Showman and then went and got a much needed manicure for this lady! Afterwards we came back home and got ready for an Ugly Christmas sweater party with friends and had such a blast catching up + making some delicious gingerbread houses!
The next morning we had a delicious breakfast and then drove about 3 hours north to Zach's hometown of Elkader to celebrate Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with my in-laws + more family that came into town! What a special treat it was to have so many amazing friends coming to enjoy a special Christmas with our family, especially because it was Landon's very first time celebrating! We must have all been super good this year because there were some pretty big gifts that were given from everyone!I just wanted to pop in real quick and hope you all had a great time with your loved one as well!
