Time for a new menu for the week. Have you tried menu planning yet? I used to do this off and on over the years. I never quite understood why I would ever stop doing it, but I would and then without fail every night at 5 p.m. we would all be going what’s for dinner? It always costs me so much money too either because we end up eating out or we get convenience meals at the store. That needed to stop. So over a year ago I committed to this Menu Plan Sunday. I tell you ever week what I’m cooking and so far I have not missed a week. I don’t always completely stick to the menu. Things happen, sometimes no one really wants what’s planned, but it has been super helpful.
So if you haven’t tried menu planning for the week, then now’s a perfect time to start. Grab my button and link up your menu at the bottom. It’s a great way to get some other ideas for your own menu seeing what others are making. So join in. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Monica’s Menu For October 20, 2013 – October 26, 2013
Sunday: Oven fried chicken with rice pilaff and corn.
Monday: Meatball grinders with french fries and green salad.
Tuesday: Pasta Dinner. We were invited to a dinner at the high school on this night. So I don’t have to cook, which is great considering it’s going to be a day of parent/teacher conferences.
Wednesday: Chicken piccata with egg noodles and carrots.
Thursday: Chicken Quesadilas with carrot sticks.
Friday: Breakfast for dinner.
Saturday: Ranch chicken with egg noodles and broccoli.
