Last week of March. Going to go with what we have in the house to avoid the grocery store this week. I already picked up my ham for Easter next Sunday. And with the holiday my husband is putting in extra hours so he’s not going to be around to bring home stuff for me to cook. So I’m going to see if I can finish out the week cooking out of my pantry and freezer.

I took an inventory of what I’ve got and I think we can do it. My emeals subscription has expired, but they did send me some holiday recipes. I don’t know that I’ll be using it. The main dish they recommended was a pork roast. I’m a ham kind of gal for Easter though. Some of the sides sounded interesting though. So we’ll see about that next week.

I hope you link up your menu this week. Grab my button while you’re at it. Let me know what you’ve got cooking in your kitchen.

Monica’s Menu For March 17 – March 23

Sunday: Hot dogs and macaroni and cheese with carrots.
Monday: Chicken and rice casserole.
Tuesday: Leftovers.
Wednesday: Chicken Piccata with egg noodles and carrots.
Thursday: Ziti and sausage.
Friday: Cheddar jack and bacon pork chops with mashed potatoes and green beans.
Saturday: Chicken and broccoli.

So this is what it’s like cooking for a family of six out of my freezer, fridge, and pantry for a week. Not too bad, I found some pretty good stuff left over. Now it’s your turn, what’s cooking in your kitchen?
