Main
- More awards have been added for accomplishing different tasks and traveling about the map in missions (e.g., finish a bonus task, locate an object in a mission, eliminate a non-essential adversary, etc.).
- An ability to change the FPS limit has been added.
Stability
- When transporting a medic and a wounded soldier to the back, a rare crash was fixed.
- Fixed a crash that occurred when using a lost weapon to attack.
- Extra error message output in the event that a DirectX device is lost.
- Resolved a crash that occurred when mod [ACE] Voice lines played damaged audio files.
UI
- To make navigating through the many settings easier, several of the GAME area’s options have been transferred to the new INTERFACE section.
- Work package settings are now located in PACKAGE rather than GAME.
Competitive Setting
- There are now four instead of five armored Willies in each slot.
- Pz 4 F2: Sandbags for reinforcement were added, and health was enhanced.
- Crab minesweeper flail tank: Added an incendiary projectile and slightly increased health.
- OT-34: Armor-piercing projectile added.
- The penalty for being proficient with grenade launchers has been rebalanced. Non-specialists no longer face a range penalty versus AI, but accuracy—including AI—has been greatly improved.
- Increased damage to light vehicles when large guns are rammed.
Realistic Setting
- Increased damage to light vehicles from anti-tank rifles.
- Building a wooden bunker took twice as long (120 seconds with 5 engineers) as building a tower (80 seconds with 5 engineers).
- Increased trench damage from earthquakes. The first shot should be an 85mm+ HE round, and the second should be a 75mm HE round, filling in a trench.
- For wrecked tanks, the inventory disappearance was fixed without an explosion or fire in the ammunition rack.
- Reduced armor penetration over long and middle ranges
- Hovering over a vehicle with a damaged hull added a hint about the damage.
- Unit detection range will be increased via visor overhaul.
- Increased damage to static guns from 75mm+ HE bullets.
- Decreased vehicle engine longevity.
- Decreased medium and close-range machine gun damage.
Classic Mode
- Slightly lowered the price of premium heavy tanks.
- Raised the cost of the best AT weapons.
- Upped the cost and timing for AT weapons and mortars.
- A sapper takes the place of the leader with a signal pistol in the Sturmpioniere Infantry squad.
- Bonus victory points for taking over areas along the first front line.
Models
- Fixed display of leading rollers on pz38t.
- Adjusted visors on sturmboot42 boat.
Miscellaneous
- In the editor, obstacles now scale with objects.
- AI no longer moves players’ infantry in trenches while using direct control.
Maps & Missions
- The Dead River map was updated with two new bridges and extra big rocks to provide cover for armored vehicles.
- A few Port map models (columns, crates, fences, water tower, loading crane) have been improved.
- Upgraded rail and train prop models in terms of materials and textures.
- Updated Soviet campaign map, “Overcoming Difficulties”
- Extra crates from “Through the Snow” and “Scorched Earth” missions have been removed.
- A few minor adjustments to the “Towards Freedom” goal.
- Defense positions on the “Death Valley” map have been adjusted.
- Minor adjustments to the “Hunt” and “Chapel” maps.
- Road upgrades on the “Airfield” and “Champagne” maps.
Conquest
- Outskirts, Coast, Sawmill, Port, and Checkpoints can now be defended in Frontline Defense mode.
