Hard Rock Café was started in Orlando, Florida, USA and quickly expanded to other part of the world. The themed restaurant is known for its collection of rare music memorabilia. The outlet in Gurgaon was started on 1st April, 2014 and has been one of the most visited café at CyberHub, Gurgaon. This place is no different than any other HRC and houses an array of music memorabilia which keeps changing every few months.
The outlet is located over 2 floors and has a seating arrangement of almost 180 people. As soon as you enter the place the Rock Shop welcomes you which sell Hard Rock Café t-shirts, pins along with other material. Some of these items are location specific while others are common across any Hard Rock Café. Hard Rock Café is known for its pop and rock music which is played all day long. There is an central stage were famous artists play live music from time to time. The ambiance is lively with a separate stage for the bar. You can find bartenders playing around making amazing cocktails.
What sets Hard Rock Café apart from any other typical café or bar is its service. Utmost care is taken when it comes to service and every few minutes someone or the other would visit by asking for feedback. A seamless experience there! On top of that each of the staff has an array of pins attached along with their name in big bold letters making sure the customer has no difficulty in connecting with their server.
Green Apple Mojito – The bar at HRC is huge and we decided to order the Green Apple Mojito from the ‘Summer’s of the Legends’ Menu. The drink was made from green apples along with Mint. The taste was refreshing. 8/10
Red Hot Chili Fried – Crispy fries with sweet and chili sauce. The fries are topped with cheddar cheese. The dish is served with a portion of tangy salsa dip and cheesy dip. The cheesy dip was so-so and didn’t have any particular flavors. The portion size of this dish was huge and a little more sweet and chili sauce would have been icing on the cake. 8/10
Veggie Belly Burger – A Double layered patty Burger with exotic flavors of Sri Lankan spices. The bread was very soft that it just melted in the mouth. The burger is served along with potato wedges with Mint Mayo and Salsa dip. The burger again was huge and quite filling. 9/10
Chocolate Caramel Cheesecake – New York styled cheesecake with chocolate and caramel sauce on top. But the real taste was at the end of the cheesecake with flavors of nuts along with these sauces. A absolutely must try, as the cheesecake was super fresh. 9/10
The only issue with Hard Rock Café is the over-use of potato’s in every-other vegetarian dish. Hard Rock Cafe should reduce the use of potato’s and come up with more innovative dishes. But the music and service really stands out. Hats off to Navvy and DM along with all other staff members at Hard Rock Cafe for an unforgettable evening.
