I have been obsessed with Meghan Markle's royal wardrobe since she and Harry made their 1st public appearance. Now that their stepping down as senior royals, what happens to her clothes?
Since becoming a member of the royal family, Meghan's designer closet has been funded by Prince Charles, the Duchy of Cornwall, which, according to the new sussexroyal website, also covers 95 percent of the Sussex lifestyle. Right now it's unclear whether this will continue.
However, Royal experts believe that Meghan will be able to keep the clothes that were purchased before the couple decided to step away from royal duties, but not her Givenchy wedding dress. It will stay the property of the Royal family.
Experts also pointed out that the Duchess has recently cut her fashion spending significantly by deciding to recycle items already in her closet and relying on less expensive staples instead of regularly finding new items from popular brands such as Givenchy, Stella McCartney and Roland to present Mouret as she did when she first became a member of the monarchy.
