It’s been reported that Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas Markle will not be attending the royal wedding on Saturday.
According to TMZ, Mr. Markle has decided not to attend the wedding after it was revealed that he staged several photo shoots with a paparazzi agency ahead of the wedding.
Thomas Markle told TMZ, he meant no harm to Meghan or the Royal Family when he made a deal to allow a photo agency to take pics of him getting ready for the wedding. He says he had a reason and it was not principally about money.
According to US Weekly, a source close to Meghan revealed that she is “upset and disturbed” by the scandal, which her half-sister, Samantha Markle, also took responsibility for in a since-deleted tweet.
Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, who reportedly arrived in London last week, will be staying at a hotel with her daughter the night before the royal wedding. They will then travel together by car to St. George’s Chapel.
