Meghan Markle, who was raised Protestant, will be baptized and confirmed as an Anglican before she weds Prince Harry on May 19th at Windsor Castle.
Even thought Meghan does not have to be Anglican to marry Prince Harry, she has chosen to be baptized as a sign of respect for Queen Elizabeth’s role as head of the Church of England.
According to numerous British media publications, the ceremony is supposed to take place sometime this month at Kensington Palace and The Archbishop of Canterbury will preside over the ceremony.
According to the London Times, Markle’s parents will be in attendance for the ceremony.
