The Royal Palace is having a soothing year with a series of events- the engagement has been announced on November 27, 2017, and a couple of months later the couple got married on May 19 at Windsor Castle. On 15 October Harry and Meghan announced the news of their pregnancy.
The couple is on their royal tour in Australia and announced the news there itself. While a specific date has not been announced yet for the baby’s arrival, the spokeswoman said that the Duchess is in good health.
Everyone is eagerly waiting for the spring, for the happiness Duke and Duchess of Sussex are about to bring!
The news went official in the noon when Kensington Palace made a tweet. Woody Johson was one of the first members to react on the news. In his tweet, he wrote,” Happy news to wake up to on a Monday morning – congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex!!”
Everyone is quite excited, and Ms Doria Ragland is also looking forward to welcoming her first grandchild. The royal baby will be seventh in line for the throne and will be the eighth great-grandchild to Queen and Prince Philip.
Although, the palace did not give any comment on whether Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle has been told about the pregnancy. The Duchess turned 37 in August and decided to visit Fiji and Tonga despite the presence of Zika virus as the decision was being taken after receiving medical advice.
The entire country has started buzzing and showering love and questions regarding the royal baby. A few of the exciting questions were-“Was the baby planned?” “ What will they name their baby?” , “Where will the baby lie in the line of succession?” “Where will the baby be born?” “ Will the royal baby get dual citizenship?”
Their trip will include about seventy-six engagements, and the couple will return to London from Auckland on 1st November. The couple arrived in Sydney on Sunday. We hope they have a great mesmerizing royal tour giving a great start to a new chapter of their life!
