Meghan and Harry have released a joint statement after her father, Thomas Markle dropped out of the royal wedding.
After it was revealed that Mr. Markle staged a photo shoot with the paparazzi,(you can read that HERE) Mr. Markle told TMZ that he would not be attending the royal wedding, “because he doesn’t want to embarrass the royal family or his daughter.”
Monday afternoon, Kensington Palace announced in a statement that Meghan was in the midst of a “deeply personal moment” following the surprise turn of events.
“This is a deeply personal moment for Ms. Markle in the days before her wedding,” said a spokesman. “She and Prince Harry ask again for understanding and respect to be extended to Mr. Markle in this difficult situation.”
Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland will spend the night with her before the wedding, and ride with the future Princess to the ceremony, and will probably be the one to walk her down the aisle.
