MegaPlush Mascara | Review

By Jadecharlotte @jadeodonnell_
Hi Pixies! So I was on my way into work on Wendsday when I popped into Boots to pick up a Tangle Teezer (review coming soon) as I still had my Boots gift card left over from my birthday. I was a bit early and had some time to kill so I had a quick mooch round to see if anything else caught my eye.

As I walked past the Maybelline stand I noticed that they finally got around to releasing their MegaPlush Mascara and as I have a slight obsession with their mascarras I picked up my own tube to try it out. However I wasn't completely blown away by the results. Unlike the mascara wands that have come before this one has a flexible end, I think the idea behind it was that it would be easier to catch all the pesky baby lashes that always avoid their eye lash destined fate, but it just didn't work very well for me.
On the plus side MegaPlush defiantly lengthened my lashes quite alot and that's good and all but on the negative side, there was just no oomph to them, it reminded me of very thin spider legs if I'm honest. They were nowhere near as thick as I'd hoped they'd be. In the end I ended up going back to their previous released mascara, The Rocket, which is blooming amazing (review here).
But all is not lost! I did find that MegaPlush worked great on my bottom lashes, so it's still a good purchase while it's on sale. I don't know, maybe it's just me and my tiny eyes and I'm not getting the full effect but for now, as much as it pains me, I can't overly recommend this - I'll give it a month and get back to you.
Have you tried out the MegaPlush yet? And if so what did you think of it? Let me know in the comments below.
