Pokémon Alpha Sappire and Omega Ruby are adding lots of new features to the Pokémon games, but the biggest thing that’s new is even more Mega Evolutions. We’ve already heard that Slowbro and Audino are going to be able to toughen up with the help of a Mega Stone, but now we can see the evolutions ourselves in these two great new trailers.
When Slowbro Mega Evolves into Mega Slowbro, energy builds in the Shellder that bites onto its tail. The hardness of its shell is boosted, making its armor incredibly strong. In battle, Mega Slowbro balances on its tail, wearing Shellder as an impenetrable armor over its body.
Before Mega Evolving, Audino is known to use the feelers on its ears to tell how others are feeling or when a Pokemon Egg might hatch. It may have either the Healer Ability or the Regenerator Ability. After Mega Evolving, Mega Audino adds Fairy type to its Normal type, automatically gaining all the advantages of Fairy type. Mega Audino always has the Healer Ability.
