So yeah, I went a little bit overboard with my Shu Uemura purchases! But since I’m imposing myself a ban on makeup buys (as in lipsticks, mascara, eyeshadows, etc. cos I honestly still have so many unused ones!!!) I thought it’s time to invest on skin care products this time around. And what better brand to explore than this cult favorite Japanese brand Shu Uemura! So, let’s start with this haul post already, shall we?
My Shu obsession started a few weeks ago when my sister who went vacationing in Japan got this POREraser UV Under Base Mousse for me as pasalubong. I started using it soon after my breakout subsided. Sucks to not be able to use it immediately cos I was waiting for my face to heal. But anyway, I was quite surprised that it did really make my pores appear smaller to the point of almost invisible. I’m just not comfortable with the mousse type of consistency. It feels like I’m applying my Finesse Curl Defining Mousse on my face — totally weird, or I’m just not used to it yet!
And then I started searching for other products to try! I initially just wanted this Perfect Poreless set which includes the Poreraser so I can have a backup ready. Plus it has the Porefinist Gentle Foaming Cleansing Water and TSUYA Skin Youthful Radiance Generator. Both have good reviews online.
Then I also got this Summer Fresh Set — Fresh Pore Clarifying Gentle Cleansing Oil, TSUYA Skin UV Under Base Mousse SPF 30 PA ++, and TSUYA Skin Youthful Radiance Generator (again).
And finally this Skin Radiance Set which consists of Whitefficient Clear Brightening Gentle Cleansing Oil, UV Under Base Brightening Mousse SPF 30 PA ++, and TSUYA Skin Youthful Radiance Generator (yes, I got a total of three of this Tsuya thing).
Ohh, and let’s not forget the GWP that came with my sister’s pasalubong! Ultime 8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil and Skin Purifier.
Weeee! So many cleansing oils to try! I hope these works to make my face youthful, radiant and smoother! Let’s see… fingers crossed! I will update you guys, so stay tuned! :)
