Meek Milly sits down with GQ one last time before the New Year and gets into all things new. They discuss his upcoming “Tony Story” Movie, Clothing Line, Headphones, and New Years Resolution. But of course they had to bring up at least one old thing before the chapter of 2013 is closed, which would be his “Kendrick Response”. Read the full Q+A below:

GQ: One last time in 2013, I wanna ask you about that “Control” verse. Kendrick had some choice words after your response dropped.
Meek Mill: I was just having fun when I did that. He’s another guy from the hood who came up. We’re from all the bad stuff that really happened. I was just having fun, talking shit. But that ain’t where I make my money.

GQ: Dreamchasers 3 has been out for a minute now. What’s next for Meek Mill?
Meek Mill: Up next is the album, touring, and a little movie on the way for “Tony Story” with Queen Latifah. That should come out some time in February.

GQ: Tour life is a full-time gig. Can you sleep on planes?
Meek Mill: Oh yeah I sleep. I haven’t been awake on a plane in like six months. I get under the covers up in first class, and use my phone until we’re way up in the air because they can’t tell I’m under there on Instagram.

GQ: You’re all over on social media. You know we gotta ask you about Twitter. Is that really what #MeekMillRapLike?
Meek Mill: (laughs) Oh, yeah. I just breeze through. It’s funny to me.

GQ: It’s kind of a compliment, in a way.
Meek Mill: Yeah I don’t see it as bad. I see jokes all day. It’s funny.

GQ: What are you working on outside of music?
Meek Mill: Starting a clothing line right now. Reversible flight jackets and stuff like that.

GQ: Is that something you’ve always wanted to get into?
Meek Mill: I don’t want to just be fully rapping my whole life. I got a two-year-old son that I never see. You make it so you don’t have to work as hard.

GQ: Like Ross says, rich forever.
Meek Mill: That’s what I’m saying. Rich forever, man. Rich with life. Rich with family. Making money ain’t fun all the time. You only live once.

GQ: What would someone learn from being around Maybach Music Group?
Meek Mill: Loyalty. We ain’t the biggest group, but we’re all chasing the same thing. When you see us laughing around each other, it ain’t just for the interview here or there, we’re like that all the time.

GQ: Let’s shift a minute, because I see you’re wearing the Givenchy sneakers. Hip-hop and fashion have always gone hand-in-hand. How would you describe your style?
Meek Mill: I’m into all types of stuff. I might have on Pumas one day, Givenchy the next. I’d wear this John Elliott sweatsuit to the club.

GQ: Are there any style rules you don’t break?
Meek Mill: No kilts. I don’t wear the see-through shirts or anything too glittery. I come from that ’90s school of rap. Fitted caps, because I got a big head so snapbacks don’t fit me right.

GQ: Gold seems to be a theme.
Meek Mill: It is! The gold Rolex, the 24K headphones, I even got a gold bike. I love the shine and I love the way it looks.

GQ: We see you riding the bikes all over Instagram. Have you always been into that?
Meek Mill: Definitely. Coming up in Philly, it’s like the kids who go skateboarding downtown. It’s not illegal, but they’ll lock you up. So when the cops come, we don’t stop.

GQ: Do you have a favorite bike?
Meek Mill: Dirtbikes, Banshees, ATVs; I like ‘em all.

GQ: What are you driving right now?
Meek Mill: The best cars. I come from nothing, you know? So I like nice things.

GQ: What was that first rap-money purchase?
Meek Mill: The Rolls Royce. But for me the most important part is being able to buy my mom anything. Being that guy in the family who can be there in any situation.

GQ: That’s that loyalty again.
Meek Mill: If you don’t have your friends and your family, what do you really have? You can have all the money in the world, but with no friends and no family, it’s no good.

GQ: Lastly, any resolutions for 2014?
Meek Mill: My New Year’s resolution for 2014 is for me and my team to win. Plain and simple.
