This pretty helo is part of the extensive fleet of PJ Helicopters, a California precision helicopter lift service in business since 1970, and probably in town to perform aerial surveys for PG&E. The MD 500 family was developed from the Hughes 500, a civilian version of the US Army’s OH-6A Cayuse first flown in 1963. Certified in 1984, the MD530F is a “hot and high” version of the 500E powered by an upgraded engine. Fuji X-Pro2 w/18-135mm.
