I had an 80’s flashback as this chopper flew low over Ala Moana Beach. Familiar to fans of Magnum P.I. as TC’s helicopter, the original Hughes 500 Model 369D crashed into the ocean during the filming of an episode. N58243 was also seen in the opening credits of the show. In 2013, a operating replica of the chopper was recreated using a MD500 and is now owned and operated by Paradise Helicopters. Nikon D500 w/80-400mm, processed with Aperture.
