Gary Newman, chairman for FOX Entertainment, has confirmed rumors from last year that the TV network is in talks to bring the “X-Men” franchise to TV but added that the series won’t be ready before 2016-2017 season.

There is a huge possibility that “24” Producers Evan Katz and Manny Coto would develop the series, where scribes Patrick McKay and JD Payne will probably pent the pilot episode.

Comment:

You heard that right. It’a “marvelous” idea to turn Bryan Singer’s “X-Men” into some sort of TV Series for the sake of the franchise. I mean how far can you endure? Many Star Wars fans are already being too skeptical and concerned about the seventh movie, when Disney has snapped up the Lucas empire for a cool $4.05 billion.

Well, “if you wanna ruin something, don’t do it in cinema, do it in TV”; and then people would least say, cinema version was much better! One last thread, “X-Men” TV Series, need to put so much effort into this, if they want to attract the attention of “X-Men” movie fans. Many cinema adaptations of great books have sucked big time in the past and TV-version of a Marvel Franchise could also become a inconceivable fiasco. Be prudent Mr. Producers, it’s a risky business and people can get hurt!
