This would be my first El Centro trip and first experience seeing the Goshawk airborne. Here is a T-45 just touching down after another training flight. The bright orange areas on the aircraft aid visibility should the aircraft go down in terrain. Based on the British Aerospace Hawk, the T-45 has been used by the United States Navy as an aircraft carrier-capable trainer since 1991. 221 aircraft were delivered with production ending in 2009.
