I enjoyed my first visit to the excellent collection of the Yanks Air Museum.  This Hornet is the only aircraft displayed that is on loan and has been at the museum since 2012.  As its plainly obvious, this F/A-18B flew with the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels flight demonstration team.   The show’s narrator flies Blue Angel 7, the designation given to the team’s two-seat aircraft, to show sites.   These aircraft are used for VIP flights and also as team spares, if needed.  In 2006, actor Harrison Ford was given a VIP ride in this very aircraft.  Nikon D500 w/18-200mm.
