Taken during the annual San Francisco Fleet Week airshow rehearsal, Blues #7 performs a high-speed pass just over mast height.  I was happy to get a decent image of the transonic shockwave generated during the pass, the largest ones can be seen above and underneath the aircraft near the tail.  First formed in 1946, the Blue Angels have been using the F/A-18 Hornet since 1986.  These are usually the oldest jets in the fleet that have been taken out of frontline combat strike units as newer models are delivered.  Nikon D500 w/Tamron 150-600mm, processing with Aperture.
