This Strike Eagle crew looks pretty happy after their performance at the Andrews Open House airshow.  The F-15E was design in the 1980’s by McDonnell Douglas as a long range interdiction fighter. The company envisaged the aircraft as a replacement for the F-111 Aardvark and F-4 Phantoms. Introduced in 1988 the F-15E is expected to serve until 2025.  The Strike Eagle is easily distinguished from other Eagles with conformal fuel tanks and darker camouflage.  Nikon D300 w/300 mm, processing with Aperture.
