Checking out the Santa Monica Museum of Flying for the first time, and saw this A-4 out front in Blue Angels livery.  First flown in 1954, close to 3,000 were produced and had a long service life.  The Skyhawk retired from USMC in 1998 and from the U.S. Navy in 2003.  The Blue ANgels performed in the A-4 Skyhawk from 1974-1986.  The A-4M variant was a dedicated Marine version with improved avionics and more powerful engine.  Nikon D500 w/18-200mm.
