The Two mascaras
On the left: Benefit they're real mascara
On the Right: Maybelline flared falsies mascara
Cue creepy eye pictures...
This is my eye without any mascara so you can see how small my eyelashes are naturally. Thank god for mascara is all I can say!
Maybelline Falsies Mascara
This mascara is only £7.99
Benefit They're real mascara
This mascara is £18
In comparison the Benefit mascara has given my lashes a better curl and overall shape although the length is pretty much the same in both mascaras. I would say the Maybelline Falsies is a darker colour of black and goes on much more thinly which is easy to build, however the benefit mascara is much thicker and can be quite difficult to work with as it is quite a dry consistency. My benefit mascara is a couple of months old whereas I just bought the Maybelline one today, so the differences in consistency could be down to that although I seem to remember this mascara always being quite a dry consistency. I would say that this is one of the downfalls of the benefit mascara, When paying £18 for a mascara I would expect it to last a little longer.
If I had the money to spend £18 on a mascara then I would definitely repurchase this product, however its a little steep for me at the moment and the Maybelline Falsies will be a good alternative.
