Did you send them to the start the shower or unlock a safe?
It is clearly time to call your local licensed plumber to take a look at either repairing or replacing the malfunctioning plumbing fixture. You should not have to live with the quirks a house or apartment can accrue over time. Now is the time to get it checked because:
- Small problems can turn into big budget fixes. If you have a tiny drip that is slow and barely noticeable, how long will you let it go? Soon it will pick up speed and is causing more damage as it gets worse.
- No matter how much of the problematic plumbing issue is showing signs of stress, it could actually be a major problem behind the wall. Just because it seems harmless on the surface, below it may be a wallet-hurting full replacement.
- Plumbing problems don’t just magically go away. If you recognize something is wrong and you just leave it and hope it works itself out, then you will be waiting forever. Plumbing appliances have a job to do and if they don’t do it to the full potential, you have to address it as soon as possible.
Pipes, drains, faucets and other aspects of your plumbing system will deteriorate over time. Even if it simply becomes very dirty or “gunky”, that can cause internal damage that can be unhealthy and unsafe. Have your shower head, shower drain and shower walls cleaned and maintained regularly for optimal performance.
