By Catty212
May DegustaboxI look forward to my monthly delivery of Degustabox, a monthly subscription box offering a range of surprise food products delivered direct to your door.
May DegustaboxEach month you receive 9-14 items of food and drink products direct to your door. There's no commitment and you can cancel your box at any time. This months box has a BBQ/Summer theme so is perfect for the warmer weather.

Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce - £2.99

Sweet Baby Ray's is the no.1 BBQ sauce in America. It's a little more smokey than what I'd prefer but hubby loved it and has ate nearly the full bottle already. It's great to use as a dipping sauce, marinade or you can even include it in your cooking.

Schwartz Marinade In a Bag - £2.19I love anything that makes meal times simple. I often buy the Maggi bags so I'm looking forward to trying out this one. You just need to add meat to the bag and leave it to marinade overnight before cooking. There are 6 flavours to choose from Red Wine & Garlic, Brazilian BBQ, Teriyaki and Korean BBQ, Honey & Soy and Spicy BBQ.

Maggi So Stir Fry Noodles x2 - £1.49 eachThey are delicious and make a super quick and tasty meal easily. There were two varieties in my Degustabox - Singapore Curry Chicken Noodles and Oriental 3 Spice Chicken Noodles. We've used the Singapore flavor and look forward to trying the other one. You literally need to chop and add your meat and fresh ingredients to the noodles and you have a tasty and simple stir fry.

Fruity 9 Bars (4 pack) - £2.00I'd heard of 9 Bar energy bars but never tried any of their products. The name '9 bar' comes from hemp seed, which contains all 9 essential amino acids. The bars are quite nice but taste really seedy and 'bitty'. It does make a healthy change to a chocolate bar though.

Daelmans Stroopwafels - £2.00
I'm a huge fan of Stroopwafels and sometimes buy the cheapy version from Lidl. Daelmans is an authentic Dutch family bakery that have been making Dutch Stroopwafels since 1909 and they're much better quality. I love a hot cup of coffee and the Stroopwafels make the perfect addition.

Fuel 10K Protibrick - £2.69Since I was involved in the upbeat blogger challenge I've made a conscious effort to increase my daily protein intake so I was interested to see these in my delivery.  The wheat biscuits look and taste a lot like Weetabix. They're high in fibre, low in sugar and fat and are made with 100% wholegrain.

Slim Pasta - £2.49Slim Pasta is a diet product made from Konjac flour and Juroat oat fiber. I've had some of the products before when I was doing a VLC diet and it's an acquired taste. I'm not really a fan.

Sarsons Balsamic Vinegar - £2.00I didn't know Sarsons made Balsamic vinegar. I buy their malt vinegar and it's great on fish and chips but the balsamic was new to me. I'm no balsamic connoisseur but it was nice over salad, especially with tomato and mozzarella cheese.

Green Coco Kid's juice with banana - 80pI'm a huge fan of coconut juice so I was rather intrigued by this. I shared it with the little man and we both seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. It was quite sweet but really tasty and refreshing. I'll definitely be buying this one when I see it in store.

The monthly Degustabox subscription costs £12.99 which includes free delivery. Degustabox have also given my readers a discount code for £3.00 which is WV449, you can use it to get your first box for just £9.99.
