Minister of Public Security Tiran Alles yesterday thanked all the political parties and organizations for conducting the demonstrations and May Day rallies held on May 1, to celebrate the International Labour Day (May Day) in a very peaceful manner, while maintaining law and order. The Minister also said all political parties engaged in May Day events supported the Police officers without interfering with their duties.
The Minister of Public Security said that a special security programme was launched at all venues where May Day celebrations and meetings were held.
Minister Alles said that he would like to express his gratitude to all the Police officers who performed their duties admirably with great dedication for public safety.
