Matthew J. Levin (a United States artist who exhibits via Beinart, as do most of the top-notch surrealist/horror artists) has been sculpting loathsome, monstrous creatures for many years.
Here are a few of my favourites from his extensive collection of sculptures.
BEINART SUPPLEMENTAL: while I was on the Beinart site, and being such a fan of photorealism, I couldn't resist this chilly tiny toe dip into the extreme and delicious work of Swiss artist Till Rabus. These are all oil on canvas, large fomat. Giger, Helnwein, Rabus; there really must be something in the Swiss water/air that's so sick-inspiring. I should have been born Swiss.
