Math Online – How I Learned to Make Math Fun?

Posted on the 16 May 2022 by Dwgimron

Do you know anyone who hates math online? I know plenty of people who’d say that they hate math, but they aren’t sure why they hate it so much. That was me once! When I was in high school, my teachers tried to explain the concept of algebra to me, but I didn’t understand what it was all about. Now that I’m older and wiser (I like to think), I can look back and tell you that math isn’t as scary as it might seem at first glance.

Number Line- A Way of Showing Numbers

A number line is a way of showing numbers. It looks like a ruler, but instead of being marked in inches or centimeters, it’s marked with numbers. In between each number is another number that is half as big (for example, between 1 and 2 there is 11⁄2).

The numbers on a number line are usually shown going from left to right (but they can go in any direction). The numbers on a number line get bigger as you move right along it.

There is also another kind of number line called a timeline. It shows things that happen over time, like history or events happening today. A timeline has dates and times marked on it, instead of just numbers.

How did I Learn to Make Math Fun?

As a high school student, math is generally viewed as boring and challenging. We spend countless hours after school studying for tests and quizzes only to forget most of what we learned by the next week. Personally, however, I have found ways to make math fun and engaging through online resources.

1) Organizing my Study Space:

As a busy high school student, it is easy to get distracted and procrastinate. One of my biggest struggles was finding a place where I could focus on my work. With distractions all around me, it was hard for me to stay focused. To combat these issues, I found an online tool called Noisli that allows you to create your soundscape while you work.

2) Learning Study Techniques:

Another way that I found made math more fun was by learning study techniques. In my experience, teachers usually give you all of your work for a week and expect you to complete it in one sitting. This is not only unrealistic, but it also does not allow you to check your understanding of concepts. To combat these issues, I found an online tool called Cuemath that allows you to break down concepts into smaller chunks and helps you understand them better.

3) Finding Cool Apps and Websites:

Another way that I found made math more fun was by finding cool apps and websites. One of my favorite websites is called Desmos, which allows you to create graphs online. They also have a mobile app you can download. My favorite app is called GeoGebra, which allows you to create dynamic graphs that are not only interactive but also look cool!

4) Getting My Grades Up:

Another way that I found made math more fun was by getting my grades up. When you are not worried about your grades, it is easy to get distracted and procrastinate. To combat these issues, I found an online tool called StudyBlue that allows you to create flashcards for each subject.

5) Applying What I Learned:

Another way that I found made math more fun was by applying what I learned. In my experience, it is hard to keep up with all of your work if you are not applying what you learn. To combat these issues, I found an online tool called Evernote that allows you to take notes and keep track of all of your homework assignments.

If you want to study more about the area of the triangle and 3d shapes, you may visit Cuemath.
