When will politicians learn that when they choose to put themselves in the public eye by getting into politics, they are held to a different standard, and when they decide to send out pictures of their peckers, their peckers could become the national conversation?
A Democratic Massachussetts state Representative John Fresolo has allegedly sent pecker pictures to a government computer.
The Daily Mail broke the story and it has been confirmed by CBS Boston and other media outlets..
He allegedly sent 'lascivious photos of his privates' to a computer at the State House, and an aide complained to the Ethics Committee to start the investigation.
House Speaker Robert DeLeo has not confirmed any accusations in the case except that he did say there was 'sufficient cause' for an investigation.
'In order to protect the integrity of the Ethics Committee investigation, Speaker DeLeo will have no further comment on this matter,' spokesman Seth Gitell said.
Local blogs and radio hosts have taken the case further, saying that it was definitely Fresolo who sent the salacious pictures.
Fresolo has denied reports that he’s about to resign his seat.
Fresolo, a Democrat, told NewsCenter 5 that his attorney has instructed him not to answer any questions.
"On advice of counsel, I have no comment," he told NewsCenter 5's Janet Wu seconds after pulling into his garage and getting out of his car.
Asked if he was being investigated by the House Ethics Committee, Fresolo said, "Again, I have no comment."
What Mr. Fresolo does in his private time is his business, but using government computers which the taxpayers of Massachussetts pay for, to send pictures of his genitalia, makes his no-so-private pecker pictures. public property.
