On Friday, at least six people died after a dust storm caused a stack of 21 vehicles in Montana, the United States.
According to CNN, strong winds whipped the dust and left the drivers with “zero visibility” before the horrible accident. Jose Strickland witnessed the stack. He said at the point of sale that even he had gone into a stop when the stack occurred just in front of him on the interstate 90 in the county of Big Horn, in Montana.
Separately, sharing a video of crushed vehicles on Facebook, he wrote: “Visibility fell in an instant. I still cannot overcome the fact that we were 1 truck from the disaster.”
It is still not clear how injured have been injured in the incident, however, an official of the road patrol informed that additional ambulances should be called from another city to help.
In the clip shared by Mr. Strickland, cars could be seen crashed in a grassy ditch of the highway while the emergency services attended the scene.
Jay Nelson of the Montana road patrol said that there were strong winds, which had caused a storm of dust without visibility. Greg Gianforte, the Governor of Montana, also said that he was “deeply saddened” by the news of the “mass accident”.
