Masabaa – The Treasury, Punjabi Bagh(W), New Delhi

By Rohit Dassani

Masabaa is a new addition to the Punjabi Bagh – Club Road cosmopolitan culture. ‘Masabaa’ corresponds to African Wild Flower. The property is divided into 2 restaurants – ‘Masabaa – Lounge and Bar’ and ‘Masabaa – The Treasury’. We decided to go for ‘Masabaa – The Treasury’, which boasts of oriental classical settings and the most important ‘valet parking’!

As soon as I walked in I was awestruck by the ambiance which corresponds to a premium jewelry store and a huge sculpture welcoming the guests. Large chandeliers adored the ceilings and the entire place was covered with velvet. The seating arrangements needs a special mention as you can choose as per your convenience, round tables, semicircular tables, square tables, and so on. Masabaa is known for its premium ambiance and it feels as if we are back in the golden period of silk and gold!
