Marvel Rivals Tier List Overview

Tier Heroes

S Venom, Luna Snow, Adam Warlock, Moon Knight, Scarlet Witch

A Squirrel Girl, Doctor Strange, Magik, Iron Fist, Thor, Hawkeye

B Bruce Banner (Hulk), Black Widow, Wolverine, Magneto, Jeff the Land Shark, Hela, Iron Man

C Winter Soldier, Groot, Punisher, Captain America, Psylocke, Cloak and Dagger, Mantis, Storm

D Peni Parker, Loki, Spider-Man, Namor

Heroes in the S-Tier are the best and can be used in any scenario. On the other hand, D-Tier fighters aren’t very useful and should usually be avoided unless you want to try something new.

Best S-Tier Marvel Rivals Heroes

Venom (Vanguard)

  • Strengths: High HP, excellent damage, and versatile attack range.
  • Abilities: Venom is great at close combat because he can protect himself, move quickly, and his ultimate does a lot of damage all at once. In one-on-one battles, he is almost impossible to beat because of his brief protection during the ultimate.
  • Why Pick?: Venom is a tanky powerhouse with excellent sustain and crowd control, making him a favorite for both beginners and veterans.

Luna Snow (Strategist)

  • Strengths: High DPS, healing abilities, and ally buffs.
  • Abilities: Luna has skills that let her heal herself and her friends and also make them stronger. She is the best backup hero because she can hit quickly and from far away.
  • Why Pick?: She’s unmatched in providing team support, ensuring your squad stays alive and dishing out damage simultaneously.

Adam Warlock (Strategist)

  • Strengths: Versatile healer and strong tactical play.
  • Abilities: Adam is able to fix others, bring them back to life, and even travel across the map. Because he can move around and has a high DPS, he is a good choice in any situation.
  • Why Pick?: If you’re looking for a mix of support and damage with strategic depth, Adam is your go-to.

Moon Knight (Duelist)

  • Strengths: Unparalleled damage output and crowd control.
  • Abilities: Moon Knight has a lot of skills, such as fast moves, strikes that affect a large area, and strong crowd control. His final attack can wipe out whole teams.
  • Why Pick?: Perfect for aggressive players who want to carry matches with sheer damage.

Scarlet Witch (Duelist)

  • Strengths: Auto-aim attacks, mobility, and massive AoE damage.
  • Abilities: It’s easy for her basic moves to hit, and her final attack does a lot of damage all at once. She can also move around a lot and briefly stop being attacked.
  • Why Pick?: Scarlet Witch is a fantastic pick for players who want a mix of mobility, survivability, and high burst damage.

A Tier: Strong but Situational Picks

Squirrel Girl (Duelist)

  • Pros: Ricocheting attacks, high burst damage, decent crowd control.
  • Cons: Slightly squishy compared to other duelists.

Doctor Strange (Vanguard)

  • Pros: Tactical teleportation, strong shielding, and decent AoE damage.
  • Cons: Requires strategic placement to maximize portal utility.

Magik (Duelist)

  • Pros: Exceptional close-combat hero with high damage.
  • Cons: Lacks mobility, making her vulnerable to ranged attacks.

B-Tier

These heroes have some great skills, but they aren’t as strong or flexible as heroes in higher tiers.

Like Bruce Banner, who is great as the Hulk but not so great when he’s not that form, Black Widow is great at long range but not so great at defense.

C-Tier

It’s not always easy for these heroes, but sometimes they do well. Case in point: Winter Soldier has a strong basic attack, but it’s hard for him to move and protect.

D-Tier

It’s hard for these heroes to keep up with how fast the Marvel Rivals games move.

Some figures, like Peni Parker and Loki, are really weak. For example, they can’t do much damage or stay alive for very long.
