Smaller airshows and fly-ins are one way of gaining some variety in my aviation photography and this weekend’s Hollister Airshow did not disappoint. In a scene reminiscent of James Bond and “Little Nellie”, a Predator gyroplane is put through its paces by pilot/owner Vance Breese. This one-of-a-kind aircraft was built by Mark Givans in 1999 and is based in Santa Maria, CA. Nikon D500 w/80-400mm, processed with Aperture.
