Just when you thought you knew what to expect from the 2020 presidential election in November, billionaire Mark cuban suggests in a recent interview with Fox News Sunday this is Chris Wallace that he did not completely rule out throwing his own hat in the ring even at this late stage, with the Democratic primary almost completed and the elections about seven months away.

Asked about the possibility of a presidential election this year (a question that Cuba has often asked in the past), here is his answer:

"I never would have considered it before a month ago, but now things are changing quickly and drastically ... I'm not saying no, but it's not something I'm actively pursuing. I'm just guarding the door open ... You come from I don't know what can happen by November. "

These dramatic and rapid changes to which Cuban refers are a reference to, what else, the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the response of which has greatly criticized both the current leadership as well as the presumed democratic candidate. This apparently includes Cuban, who also said that President Donald Trump's forecasts for the US economy were sometimes too sunny to be believed:

"People are not just going to venture outside. They are not going to large gatherings. They will not feel confident from the start ... This concern will lead people to not spend money."

Cuban himself seems to have a more pragmatic and optimistic view of the US economic recovery, predicting that the economy "will come back stronger than ever" but warning against hopes of a rapid "V-shaped recovery" that could simply not be possible.

Regardless of the severity of the possibility of a presidential race for Mark Cuban, he also has more immediate duties as the owner of an NBA team, and he has also expressed optimism about the prospect of a recovery next NBA game, but without the usual crowd of spectators:

"I think at the beginning we will only be playing for the television cameras, with the essential staff and the players ... It's a good thing, because I think we need things to encourage."

Cuban also worked on philanthropic relief efforts during the coronavirus pandemic, donating $ 500,000 to healthcare workers in Dallas and participating in the "All-In Challenge" to raise additional funds for the crisis, providing fans the opportunity to offer charitable contributions for the occasion. to "join" the Mavericks for a preseason game.
