The 18th of October is the debut of Marina Raphael’s new capsule collection, which she made with Eugenie Niarchos, the Creative Director of Venyx World. The bag is also available digitally as an NFT in Metaverse.

Raphael started her own brand in 2018, and since then her bags have stayed true to the brand’s sophisticated and timeless style while also being creative and glamorous to appeal to a younger audience. Raphael is the sixth generation of the Swarovski family, and his designs also use a lot of sparkles and crystals.

In typical MR fashion, the new look has clean lines, a strong shape, and well-made details. The Venyx bag has a simple shape but a lot of details, making it contradictory and paradoxical. It shows how the two female entrepreneurs share a love of high-end design and gem stones, as well as a sense of futuristic innovation.

The designers shared in notes that the piece “was conceived to exude a perpetual contrast between traditional leather goods creation and construction.” The Venyx shape is set to become an instant classic, a bag that looks like a space-age jewelry box and is ideal for keeping secrets and life’s essentials. It has a sleek and a little bit conservative box-style design, a cute miniature size, statement metal hardware, and crystals that come in a rainbow of colours.

In cooperation with Niftify, an NFT marketplace and Web3 platform, Raphael will realize her first NFTs in the immersive virtual realm of Metaverse. This will be her first time doing so. The first ten people who buy the physical bag online will get a one_kind_of NFT with an animation of the bag opening and virtual gems pouring out.
