No one can forget that chilling moment when Lorena had her neck twisted around by Bill Compton on True Blood. Nor can we forget the talented woman who made Lorena into the creature we saw her as on our tv screens. Mariana Klaveno may not be on True Blood any longer, but her career continues to grow (and includes shows like Dexter and Hawaii Five-0).
Mariana has just been cast along with Grant Show (formerly of Melrose Place) in a new ABC pilot called ‘Devious Maids.’ She and Grant will play a married couple, both of whom are actors. Grant’s character is described as a successful soap opera star named Spence Davis, while Mariana’s character is described as a gorgeous and self-centered actress.
‘Devious Maids’ was created by Marc Cherry, most famous for creating Desperate Housewives. The show is loosely based on ‘The Disorderly Maids of the Neighborhood,’ a Mexican telenovela, and follows several housekeepers who have famous and wealthy clients in the Beverly Hills area.
