Verdict on Margaux
Margaux is a horror thriller following a group of college students that rent a smart house for spring break. The weekend of drinks and partying sees them expose secrets and learn more about each other. However, the house has its own plans for the residents and now they must battle to survive.
This is a horror movie that brings the slasher concept to the smart AI horror world. There is an element of horror in the film with Lexi and Clay playing completely into the shallow social media star and the stoner. This does end up leaving us with a couple of ideas that don’t seem to click, due to bad camera angles that don’t show the intended plan. However, on the more positive side of things, we get a nice switch from blood red to white liquid in the machine.
Final Thoughts – Margaux is a fun techno slasher movie.
