It’s been a busy working week so I’m keeping tonight’s cocktail simple.  Quick and easy to make, you can be relaxing and enjoying your weekend as quickly as I am!


35ml Tequila
20ml Cointreau
20ml fresh lime juice

Put all the ingredients into a shaker with ice.  Shake. Serve over ice in a salt rimmed glass with a slice of lime.  I’m not putting the salt on my glass because I don’t like it, experiment and see what you prefer.


I’m having a Jubilee party in a couple of weeks so doing some research on a possible Jubilee Punch and there are some lovely ones out there with great traditionally British ingredients - Elderflower cordial, Earl Grey tea, Sloe Gin, English sparkling wine.  I think I maybe experimenting next Friday!
