It has been reported that many automobiles and vacationers have been stranded round Yakila and Garun Gabas areas close to Kundu in Rafi Native Authorities Space of Niger state lately.
They have been stranded on Saturday December 4, after an unspecified variety of armed bandits blocked the Kontagora-Minna Highway within the state.
The incident reportedly led to a gridlock and Channels Tv reported that the blockage lasted about one hour and there have been no safety personnel to clear the street within the space on the time.
The bandits reportedly kidnapped an undisclosed variety of individuals and moved them to an unknown vacation spot, pushing different travellers into fleeing into close by villages as they might not proceed their journey over fears of being kidnapped by the armed males.
Eyewitnesses mentioned a workforce of safety operatives later arrived on the scene to clear the street in a bid to make sure it was secure for travellers and motorists.
