I just stayed at the Mandarin Orientel Las Vegas, a non-gaming hotel in the city center. I usually stay at The Encore and loved it there but hated the smoke, so I decided to try something new and was blown away. From the moment I made the reservation at this year and a half old hotel, the service was impeccable. We originally planned on staying for 1 night, but extended to 3, not wanting to leave this oasis.
The instant greeting and warmth upon driving up to the hotel is very evident. From the moment I got there, every single person called me by name whether or not I’ve met them. I was truly in awe. Prior to arrival, I called the hotel to see if they can have the house car take me to a 5:30am appointment at the Bellagio. I was told by Glenn at the bell stand that the house car doesn’t usually run at that time, but to consider it done. Sure enough, when I pulled up to the hotel, - it was Glenn that opened my door and welcomed me with "Hello, Ms India. It’s a pleasure to have you. Your car is all set for Friday."
