Special Task Force personnel on duty at the Presidential House had noticed a person behaving suspiciously near the swimming pool area and upon searching him, they had found a parcel containing cannabis.
The suspect was arrested and handed over to the Colombo Fort Police for further investigations.
The suspect who was arrested by the STF is a 24-year-old resident of Meerigama. The Police Media Spokesman’s Office said that the suspect was produced in Court yesterday.
