A man who was arrested by the Police following a failed attempt to kill himself, was seriously injured after another attempt by slitting his own throat inside the Kilinochchi Police station on Saturday.
The man had been seriously injured in the second attempt to kill himself and has been admitted to hospital.
The man reportedly had tried to kill himself after his wife threatened to file a complaint against him with the Police.
The wife had threatened to lodge a complaint against the husband following a quarrel between them.
