Man Of Steel crushed the competition last night, with 9 million from its midnight showing, plus an added 12 million through the Wal-Mart screenings at 7PM. This total is enough to give it 7th place on the list of all time midnight screenings, surpassing films like The Hunger Games, The Dark Knight, and The Avengers. Apparently, selling tickets through Wal-Mart is the way to go. 12 million? That’s amazing. Still, one has to wonder about the legs… 57% on Rotten Tomatoes? That’s not exactly promising.
