Welikada Police found a dead body of a male, floating on Diyawanna Oya near Nippon Road.
The deceased had been identified as Leelaratne Fernando, a 67-year old married person and a resident of Maligawa Road, Ethul Kotte. He had recently undergone a surgery.
The relatives had told the Police that he had suffered an emotional breakdown.
