I had seen my fellow bloggers went gaga over the Mamaearth brand. Many bloggers promote and recommend their products as it is safe and natural. As the name says “Mamaearth” I thought they were just for mothers, but they also offer a wide range of skincare and hair care products which they claim is effective and efficient. Moreover, Mamaearth is Asia’s first ‘Made Safe’ Certified Brand.
Therefore, when my husband advised me for a hair mask and conditioner for dandruff, which even I could use for my coloured hair, I decided to buy the Mamaearth Tea Tree haircare range.
We have been using both the products for more than two months and sharing our reviews accordingly, which can let you know if these products are only meant for people having dandruff or for anyone.

Mamaearth Anti-Dandruff Tea Tree Hair Mask
The hair mask is free of chemicals and is safe to use. Along with tea tree, this hair mask also contains lemon and Argan oil, which are important ingredients for hair care.
- Tea tree oil: It contains antifungal and antibacterial properties which help in reducing dandruff and itchiness.
- Lemon oil: Helps in balancing the pH of the scalp and controls oil.
- Argan oil: Rich in Vitamin E which helps in the nourishment of hair.

The mask comes in a white plastic jar with a stopper lid. The packaging is leak-proof and convenient to use. The mask is off white with a whipped consistency.
How to use it?
Step1: Wash your hair properly
Step2: Divide your hair into two halves
Step3: Take a generous amount of product on hand and apply to wet hair and scalp (I use a hair colour brush to apply)
Step4: Leave it on for 15-20 mins
Step5: Rinse it off with shampoo (I use only water as I use shampoo for the first step to clean my hair)

Reduces Dandruff and itching Yes, it helped in reducing my husband’s dandruff and itching woes to some extent but not completely.

The mask has a pleasant fragrance and quite easy to apply. We use it once in 10 days and with every use, the hair feels smooth and soft. It fulfills most of the claims and we found it to be a decent buy.
We will purchase it again when there is a sale as the mask gets finished soon due to my long hair. I would recommend this product if you are looking for an anti-dandruff hair mask.

This conditioner is free of harmful chemicals and toxins such as Silicones, Parabens, Mineral oils, and dyes. It is dermatological tested and safe for colored hair.
Along with Tea tree, this conditioner also contains Ginger oil, which is effective for healthy hair.

Packaging
The conditioner comes in a white, opaque bottle with a pump nozzle. It is leak-proof and sturdy. It is white with a thick consistency.
How to use it?
Step1: After washing your hair with shampoo, take an adequate amount of conditioner.
Step2: Apply it from mid-lengths to the ends and leave it for 2-3 mins. DO NOT APPLY ON SCALP.
Step3: Rinse it with water.

Review
The conditioner has a coconut smell. I use it every time I wash my hair except when I use a hair mask. Whenever you use a conditioner, you may notice that hair tends to fall, but with this product, there were no such issues that we both liked.
However, the product didn’t reduce my frizz at all, and neither it made my hair soft which was disappointing because the main purpose of using a conditioner is to have soft and frizz-free hair. Also, it neither worked in controlling oiliness.
Regarding the main claim of the product, it does reduce dandruff and itchiness to an extent.
I will recommend this product ONLY if you are looking for an anti-dandruff hair conditioner.

Final Thoughts
Mamaearth Tea tree haircare range is good for people looking for anti-dandruff products. It has the benefits of tea tree along with other active ingredients which can help you to get rid of dry scalp.
The hair mask can be opted by others too who doesn’t have dandruff problems like me as it provides smooth hair, but not hair conditioner.
