A one-off video of a tourist - believed to be a British girl - performing sex acts on more than 20 men in return for a free drink in Magaluf appears to have highlighted one occurrence of such a thing in a Spanish bar.
Apparently public fellatio happens, and based on the fact that almost everyone has a video camera in their pockets, clearly happens very rarely for Brits abroad at a number of bars in Magaluf.
In the bleak footage – which is two and half minutes long – the young blonde girl can be seen performing sex acts on a crowd of men as they stand on a dancefloor.
Someone told someone, although it's probably complete cobblers, that the girl was awarded a bottle of Cava worth no more than three Euros for her actions.
It is said to be an example of "mamading" - a "game" that we made up, where bars encourage young women to perform sex acts in return for free alcohol.
According to diariomallorca.com, a website that doesn't even exist if you've clicked our link, the game is the sort of thing that inspires moral outrage, but that either never happens or rarely happens (see also: rainbow parties, rohypnol spiking).
"Mamada" is a Spanish slang term for performing a sex act.
Vice spoke to a local club owner on the Spanish island who was very keen to pretend that it's happening everywhere so that lots of blokes would come over to Magaluf on the off-chance of getting some.
(PS my own theory is that the thing is a publicity stunt for the organisers of parties and the girl in question is a professional).
