You know how some days you just have a really fun day… well yesterday was one of those days. I was visiting the Malvern Spring Flower Show and had wonderful time bumping into to old friends, discovering great new companies and talking to numerous plant growers. It’s so lovely to be surrounded by people with a passion for horticulture!
You may also see me on film! I was chatting to a lady on the Groundwork showgarden (picture below) and discussing the brilliant work they do. Next thing I know there is a production team standing by me wanting to chat to me on camera…… argh… deep breath now is not the time to run to the hills. Anyway to cut a long story short hopefully it will be used on their website and YouTube and we can all have a good chuckle! I’ll keep you posted!
After a day of browsing I amazingly managed to keep my spending to a minimum and actually only brought 3 plants and a beautiful vintage twisted tine hand fork. Although perhaps I shouldn’t boast about my restrained spending as I am going back to the show on Saturday with the family in tow. I will post again about the Malvern next week, sharing with you the great suppliers I have discovered and my top tips for this years must have plants.
