I’ve been lucky enough to be involved with my local schools showgarden at Malvern again this year. It’s been wonderful to see just how much we’ve been able to achieve on the tiniest of budgets especially when I know the amount of money that’s spent on the main showgardens!
So here it is ‘Hundred Acre Meadow’. We received the highest award possible of Highly Commended and the newly introduced ‘Chris Beardshaw Award’ for the most imaginative and exciting design…. now that it pretty impressive as the little girl responsible was only 4 years old (I see a future career in garden design there!).
Needless to say the teachers & pupils that have put so much time and effort into this project were over the moon. And also as Mummy to one of those hard working pupils I was incredibly proud!
