Verdict on Malum
Malum is a horror thriller following a rookie cop investigating the death of her father. She is operating out of a decommissioned police station where his death happened and faces a string of uncomfortable experiences connected to the cult he took down.
This movie takes us down a nightmarish journey through one woman’s sanity as she learns more about a cult. It uses the unknown to drive her motivation to solve what happened to her father. However, the cult side of the story takes over and you never know what you are going to see next. It has so many unexpected moments, that it will leave you floored. This is also not for the faint-hearted as the gore is everywhere and never holds back. Jessica Sula is wonderful in the leading role, handling the action horror with ease.
