Verdict on Mallari

Mallari is a horror thriller following a doctor who starts to believe a 19th-century serial killer has returned from the grave. He investigates the history of the area and learns the disturbing truth. It becomes a race against time to uncover the truth and expose the horrors of the past.

This movie takes us into a world where a serial killer is living from beyond the grave. It uses this to create a creepy journey into the unknown as things quickly spiral out of control. However, the jump between the time periods can becoming difficult to follow and the possession sequences are fare to similar. It never manages to be as scary as it presents itself to be and doesn’t capture the general creepy concept it could have obtained.

Where to Watch

Mallari is available on Netflix now.

Final ThoughtsMallari has creepy moments but becomes difficult to follow.
